Flors Zinnia is a family-run florist deeply rooted in Barcelona. Its story began in 1958, when Pere Padrós's grandparents founded the business and opened their first shop at 22 Avinguda Pau Casals. At the time, the area looked very different from today, with fields and undeveloped plots still surrounding it.

The family's connection to flowers, however, began even earlier. Pere's grandfather came from a family of flower growers, while his grandmother's family worked as florists. They met at the former flower market on Las Ramblas, where he sold flowers to her family.
From that encounter grew both a personal and professional story that would eventually lead to the creation of Flors Zinnia.

Over the years, the second generation took over the business, preserving its essence and its close connection to the craft. Today, Pere Padrós represents the family's third generation of florists and continues to develop the project with respect for its history while bringing a contemporary perspective to it.

Barcelona is an inseparable part of Flors Zinnia's identity and a constant source of
inspiration for Pere. The presence of nature throughout the city, particularly in
Modernisme, where flowers and organic forms are transformed into art, connects directly with his way of understanding the craft. This is complemented by Barcelona's unique ability to combine an urban environment with natural spaces such as Collserola and Montjuïc.

Pere is actively involved in creating Zinnia's floral compositions and continues to train through courses and floral art demonstrations, exploring new techniques and ways to innovate without losing sight of the family's tradition. He was recently named winner of the Spanish Floristry Championship, an achievement that marks a new chapter in a story that began more than six decades ago and now spans three generations devoted to flowers.
